  1. Set up

The feature can be set up in the clients section of the intranet. This can be found in the Clients > View Client List menu

2) After navigating to the client page, you will see the client list in a tabular format. Navigate to the client you want to set up instant connect for and click on the instant connect button beside it.

3) A pop up will appear with the following details

The first box (Client name) will be auto populated

The “Instant Connect” checkbox turns the feature on/off

The “Client Number” is the phone number of the client with country code (Please note: the country code is important as the system internally uses that to determine which number should be used to initiate the calls)

The “Call Mode” feature will have the following 4 options

  1. IVR + Options : This option will play an IVR to the client and give them an option to continue with the call or disconnect

  2. IVR + No Options : This option will play an IVR to the client and immediately connect the call with the visitor

  3. IVR + Options + Delay : This option is the same as IVR + Options except that there’s a delay before the IVR starts playing. The delay can be defined in a box below this option

  4. IVR 20 Iterations + Options : This option is the same as IVR + Options, however, this iterates the same IVR 20 times till it gets an input before disconnecting the call

After filling up the details in the popup, Click save and this client is now set up to use Instant Connect.

Use:

1) To use Instant Connect, please click on the Instant Connect tab in the Menu

You will be greeted with the following page

2) The left section of the page is used to place calls. You need to fill in the Client name, Visitor name and Visitor Number and click the “call” button. Once that is done, the call is placed and the system takes over based on the settings defined during set up.

The right section of the page shows a detailed list of all calls made by the system and the status of those calls. This list can also be exported to excel using the “Download Report” button in the top right hand corner of the page.
